Back In Black: Yeezy 350 Boost

Releasing on August 22, 2015 is the Adidas Yeezy 350 Boost "Blackout". After the major success of the "Heather Grey" 350 Boost that was released earlier this summer, the "Blackout" has built a lot of hype in very little time. With it's similar silhouette to the Nike Roshe Run the main focus of the Yeezy 350 Boost is to combine comfort with a sleek futuristic style. Adidas' cushioning system "boost" is growing to be one of the most comfortable insoles in recent memory, being compared to a TempurPedic mattress. Retailing at $200 the Yeezy Boost is a limited release, so if you want them be prepared for the hassle of online bidding and release countdowns. 

Be Like Mike....Vick

Returning for the first time since 2005 is the Nike Air Vick 2. This is the first Nike release of the Michael Vick line since his contract was terminated after his dog fighting scandal in 2007. The Air Vick's were a staple in the sneaker community because they were the first "trainer" from a football player since Deion Sanders to reach high popularity. The shoe has released currently in stores such as Champs and Sport Zone and are retailed at $149.99. They're also other colorways that will be releasing soon such as the "Home Falcons" and "All-Star".

Don't Get Caught Faking It

"Fake Jordan's" have been a staple in the sneaker game for quite some time now because of the pricing of Jordan's in recent years or they're simply unaware. Fake Jordan's are often combinations of many other Air Jordan models or a mixture of a Jordan model mixed with a different brand like the one pictured above. The shoe in the picture is an Air Jordan XI mixed with what appears to be a Nike Shox model in a color and shoe that was never released. In the sneaker game these type of shoes are often brought up for comical purposes and there is no bullying allowed of course. But please, do not get caught wearing an artificial pair or the jokes will come quickly.

October's Very Own Now Has His Own

After being a personal exclusive for Toronto rapper Drake also known as "October's Very Own" , this Jordan 10 will now be available to the public. Although there is no release date yet, they're set to retail at $225 in men's only sizes with a very limited quantity. Featuring a white tumbled leather base and gold dust accents on the midsole, this exclusive is something you would love to add to your collection. 

OG Maroon 6's set to return Holiday 2015

Featured in this issue of "Just For Kicks" is the highly anticipated release of the Jordan Retro 6 "Maroon" this holiday season. Subjected to be a Black Friday release, this Retro Jordan features  the "Nike Air" symbol on the back which will indeed boost the hype of the release. The Jordan 6 was the last model of the "Nike Air Jordan" line before strictly being "Air Jordan" starting with the Air Jordan 7, so this release you definitely do not want to miss out on. This shoe will be available in men's and children's sizes meaning the entire family will have access to this classic.

 Greetings I am Martell Pegues a senior at Bowie State University, Maryland native, and sneaker enthusiast. I grew up always admiring shoes whether it was Jordan Brand, Nike, Reebok, Adidas and other brands that have become more popular in modern times. My brother introduced me to the shoe game telling me what it is to know about each particular sneaker including the year they were produced and which athletes wore them. My favorite model of shoes are Nike Air Force 1's, they were first made in 1982 and have been a classic ever since. With there being over 100 color ways and designs for the Air Force 1, it's truly a timeless classic. I hope that through my blog you all gain knowledge of sneakers, and learn to love the shoe game as well.
